Quantization of fields based on Generalized Uncertainty Principle
نویسنده
چکیده
We construct a quantum theory of free scalar field in 1+1 dimensions based on the deformed Heisenberg algebra [x̂, p̂] = i~(1 + βp̂) where β is a deformation parameter. Both canonical and path integral formalism are employed. A higher dimensional extension is easily performed in the path integral formalism. [email protected] [email protected]

Generalized Uncertainty Principle and Quantum
In the present work the role that a generalized uncertainty principle could play in the quantization of the electromagnetic field is analyzed. It will be shown that we may speak of a Fock space, a result that implies that the concept of photon is properly defined. Nevertheless, in this new context the creation and annihilation operators become a function of the new term that modifies the Heisen...
متن کاملCanonical thermostatics of ideal gas in the frame work of generalized uncertainty principle
The statistical consequences of minimal length supposition are investigated for a canonical ensemble of ideal gas. These effects are encoded in the so-called Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP) of the second order. In the frame work of the considered GUP scenario, a unique partition function is obtained by using of two different methods of quantum and classical approaches. It should be noti...
متن کاملUse of harmonic inversion techniques in the periodic orbit quantization of integrable systems
Harmonic inversion has already been proven to be a powerful tool for the analysis of quantum spectra and the periodic orbit orbit quantization of chaotic systems. The harmonic inversion technique circumvents the convergence problems of the periodic orbit sum and the uncertainty principle of the usual Fourier analysis, thus yielding results of high resolution and high precision. Based on the clo...
متن کاملOn quantization of gravity
The theory of gravity without free gravitational fields is considered. It is assumed that gravitational radiation is some hypothetical matter fields. Gravitational emission is a process of the decay of proton into hypothetical matter fields at the Planck scale. In the Einstein theory of gravity [1] with the Lagrangian L = − 1 16πG √ gR, (1) gravitational field is defined by the components of th...
متن کاملQuantum groups, gravity, and the generalized uncertainty principle.
We investigate the relationship between the generalized uncertainty principle in quantum gravity and the quantum deformation of the Poincaré algebra. We find that a deformed Newton-Wigner position operator and the generators of spatial translations and rotations of the deformed Poincaré algebra obey a deformed Heisenberg algebra from which the generalized uncertainty principle follows. The resu...
